تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
متداول. معمولاً زمانی که منظور جلب توجه به نکتهای مهم است، جایگزین هم میشوند؛ مثلاً highlight the main points به جای emphasize قابل استفاده است.
Common. Usually interchangeable when meaning to draw attention to something important — e.g. 'highlight the main points' works instead of 'emphasize'.
متداول. اغلب قابل تعویض ولی ممکن است معنای تأکید با شدت احساسی بیشتر را برساند؛ مثلاً stress the importance مشابه emphasize the importance است.
