bigamy— دوهمسری
رسمی/قانونی. به معنی ازدواج با شخصی در حالی که هنوز با دیگری ازدواج قانونی دارد. با چندهمسری که معمولاً به چند همسر پذیرفته شده فرهنگی اشاره دارد قابل جایگزینی نیست.
Formal/legal term. Refers specifically to marrying one person while still legally married to another. Not interchangeable with polygamy which often implies culturally accepted multiple spouses.
