synopsis— چکیده
رسمی و ادبی است. برای طرح کلی کتاب، فیلم یا گزارش، مثل a synopsis of the novel، میتواند جایگزین شود؛ اما در گفتار روزمره طبیعیتر نیست. بیشتر برای آثار منتشرشده به کار میرود.
Formal and literary. It can replace 'brief summary' for the outline of a book, film, or report, as in 'a synopsis of the novel', but sounds less natural in everyday speech. Choose it for published works.
