رایج. وقتی به تفاوتهای بین چیزها اشاره میشود قابل جایگزینی است اما difference کلیتر و کمتر رسمی است.
Common. Interchangeable when referring to variations between things, but 'difference' is broader and less formal than 'discrepancy'. Example: 'There is a difference in results' vs. 'There is a discrepancy in results.'
رسمی. وقتی داده یا گفتهها با هم در تضادند استفاده میشود. در موقعیتهای رسمی و تخصصی قابل جایگزینی است.
Formal. Used specifically when data or statements conflict. Can replace discrepancy in formal or technical contexts, e.g. 'inconsistency in data'.
