رسمی. غالباً برای اشاره به گروههای متمایز شده از نظر نژاد یا فرهنگ به کار میرود، ولی در همه موقعیتها جایگزین غیر سفید نیست؛ چون غیر سفید بیشتر روی رنگ پوست تمرکز دارد.
Formal. Often used to describe groups distinguished by race or culture, but not interchangeable in all contexts, as 'non-white' is more specific to race. For example, 'ethnic minority' includes cultural aspects; 'non-white' focuses on skin color.
