تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
متداول. وقتی میزان زیاد مد نظر است قابل جایگزینیست. «او بسیار از او تشکر کرد» و «او به طور وافر از او تشکر کرد» هر دو درست هستند اما profusely رسمیتر یا پر احساستر است.
Common. Interchangeable when emphasizing large amounts generally — 'She thanked him abundantly' and 'She thanked him profusely' both work, though 'profusely' sounds more formal or emotional.
رسمی و پر رنگ. معمولاً به سخاوت یا افراط اشاره دارد — فقط وقتی به معنای زیادهروی با سخاوت است جایگزین profusely میشود، مثلاً «عذرخواهیهای سخاوتمندانه» اما در توصیفات ساده فیزیکی خیر.
Formal/strong. Usually implies generosity or extravagance — can replace 'profusely' only when meaning excessiveness with generosity, e.g. 'apologized lavishly' but not in neutral physical descriptions.
