تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. معمولاً جایگزین stir میشود وقتی منظور ترکیب کردن است؛ اما stir حرکت دایرهای دارد و mix کلیتر است.
Common. Can replace 'stir' generally when referring to combining substances; however, 'stir' implies circular motion, while 'mix' is more general. E.g. 'Stir the coffee' vs. 'Mix the ingredients'.
غیررسمی/آشپزی. به هم زدن سریع با همزن اشاره دارد؛ برای مخلوط کردن آرام مناسب نیست.
Informal/cooking. Refers to mixing quickly and vigorously, usually with a whisk. Not interchangeable with 'stir' if gentle mixing is meant. E.g., 'Whisk the eggs' not 'Stir the eggs' when beating.
