تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/حقوقی. شبیه به 'اتهامات' اما اغلب زمانی استفاده میشود که ادعایی هنوز ثابت نشده است. اغلب در زمینههای حقوقی یا روزنامهنگاری استفاده میشود. 'ادعاها جدی بودند' درست است، 'اتهامات جدی بودند' نیز درست است، اما 'allegations' بیشتر زمانی استفاده میشود که ادعاها هنوز تحت بررسی هستند.
Formal/Legal. Similar to 'accusations' but often used when a claim has not yet been proven. Often used in legal or journalistic contexts. 'The allegations were serious' works, 'The accusations were serious' also works, but 'allegations' is more frequently used when the claims are still under investigation.

Legal. Formal accusations made by the police or legal authorities that someone has committed a crime. 'Charges' specifically refers to formal legal accusations. 'He faced multiple charges' works, 'He faced multiple accusations' can work, but 'charges' is more precise in a legal context.
