تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/روزمره. در زمینههایی که کسی به طور رسمی به جای دیگری قرار میگیرد، به ویژه در فروش یا سیاست، عمدتاً با 'agent' قابل تعویض است.
Formal/everyday. Largely interchangeable with 'agent' in contexts where someone officially stands in for another, especially in sales or politics. 'A sales representative' works, similar to 'a sales agent'.

Technical/formal. A general term for any physical material. Broader than 'agent' as it doesn't necessarily imply a specific purpose or action. 'A toxic substance' works, 'a toxic agent' also works but is more specific about its effect.
