تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. وقتی رفتار کسی را محفوظ وصف میکند جایگزین aloof میشود، ولی distant ممکن است به فاصله فیزیکی هم اشاره کند.
Common. Can replace 'aloof' when describing someone's behavior as emotionally reserved, but 'distant' may imply physical distance too.
رایج/رسمی. وقتی کسی ساکت و دور از اجتماع است جایگزین aloof میشود، ولی reserved بیشتر به خجالتی بودن اشاره دارد.
Common/formal. Interchangeable with 'aloof' for describing someone quiet and distant socially; however, 'reserved' focuses more on shyness or modesty.
