رایج. وقتی درباره مقادیر قابل سنجش صحبت میکنیم میتوان به جای amount به کار برد، مثل 'a quantity of water' اما برای مفاهیم انتزاعی مثل 'amount of effort' مناسب نیست.
Common. Interchangeable with 'amount' when referring to measurable quantities, e.g. 'a quantity of water' but not for abstract sums like 'amount of effort'.
