تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/فنی. به معنای واقعی کلمه یعنی حباب ساطع کردن، به خصوص از مایع. میتواند به صورت استعاری برای سرزندگی به کار رود، شبیه به «جوشیدن» در معنای هیجان آن، اما «حباب زدن» برای جوشش فیزیکی رایجتر است. «نوشابه حباب زد» درست است، اما «حالت روحی او حباب زد» کمتر از «حالت روحی او پرشور بود» رایج است.
Formal/technical. Literally means to emit bubbles, especially from a liquid. Can be used metaphorically for liveliness, similar to 'fervesce' in its excitement sense, but 'effervesce' is more common for physical bubbling. 'The soda effervesced' works, 'her mood effervesced' is less common than 'her mood was ebullient'.
رایج. به رسیدن به دمایی که مایع به گاز تبدیل میشود، یا به حالت احساسی شدید اشاره دارد. «جوش آوردن» برای هر دو گرمای فیزیکی و احساسی مستقیمتر و رایجتر است. «آب جوشید» یا «او از خشم جوشید».
Common. Refers to reaching a temperature where liquid turns to gas, or a state of intense emotion. 'Boil' is more direct and common for both literal and emotional heat. 'The water boiled' or 'he boiled with rage'.
