linear model
نمایشی ریاضی که رابطهای را توصیف میکند که در آن مقدار متغیر وابسته به طور مستقیم با یک یا چند متغیر مستقل تغییر میکند و نمودار آن خطی است.
A mathematical representation describing a relationship where the dependent variable changes proportionally with one or more independent variables forming a straight line.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/فنی. در آمار اغلب قابل جایگزین است زمانی که به مدلهای پیشبینی رابطه اشاره میکند، ولی مدل رگرسیون جامعتر است و شامل شکلهای غیرخطی نیز میشود.
Formal/technical. Often interchangeable in statistics when referring to models predicting relationships, but 'regression model' is broader and includes nonlinear forms.
