regression model
ابزاری آماری که رابطه بین متغیرها را مدل میکند و معمولا برای پیشبینی یک متغیر وابسته از یک یا چند متغیر مستقل به کار میرود.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/فنی. اصطلاح کلیتری است که مدلهای رگرسیون را در بر میگیرد؛ در بحث کلی مدلسازی داده قابل جایگزینی است ولی وقتی بحث فقط رگرسیون باشد همه جا قابل تعویض نیست.
Formal/technical. A broader term that includes regression models; can replace in contexts discussing data modeling generally. Not always interchangeable if specifically focusing on regression.
رسمی/فنی. اشاره به مدلهایی دارد که پیشبینی میکنند؛ شامل مدلهای رگرسیون و غیره میشود. وقتی تأکید روی پیشبینی باشد مناسب است.
Formal/technical. Refers to models that forecast outcomes; often includes regression models but also others. Suitable when emphasis is on prediction.
