با هیجان و خوشحالی انتظار چیزی را کشیدن که قرار است رخ دهد
to feel excited and pleased about something that is going to happen

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی. در موقعیتهای رسمی جایگزین است ولی هیجان را منتقل نمیکند. مثلاً «I anticipate your reply» مناسب است اما «I anticipate the party» کمتر گرم است.
Formal. Can replace 'look forward to' in formal contexts, but is less emotional and doesn't always imply excitement. E.g., 'I anticipate your reply' works but 'I anticipate the party' sounds less warm.
رسمی. بیشتر برای رویدادها یا اشیاء استفاده میشود و هیجان شخصی را نمیرساند. مثلاً «We await your decision» رسمی و بیطرف است.
Formal. Often used for events or things, less for personal feelings. Not interchangeable when expressing personal excitement. E.g., 'We await your decision' is formal and neutral.
