صفت. وضعیت داشتن بدهی را توصیف میکند. در حالی که owed چیزی را توصیف میکند که سررسید شده است، indebted شخصی را توصیف میکند که تعهد دارد. 'او به بانک بدهکار بود' ('He was indebted to the bank') درست است، اما 'The money was indebted' صحیح نیست.
Adjective. Describes the state of having a debt. While 'owed' describes something that is due, 'indebted' describes the person who has the obligation. 'He was indebted to the bank' works, but 'The money was indebted' does not.
