تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. 'claim' گستردهتر است و میتواند به هر ادعایی با یا بدون مدرک اشاره کند و ذاتاً به معنای کار اشتباه نیست. 'allege' به طور خاص به اتهام نادرست، اغلب در یک زمینه قانونی یا رسمی، با این درک که در حال حاضر مدرکی وجود ندارد، اشاره دارد.
Common. 'Claim' is broader and can refer to any assertion, with or without evidence, and does not inherently imply wrongdoing. 'Allege' specifically implies an accusation of wrongdoing, often in a legal or formal context, with an understanding that proof is currently lacking.

Formal. To state a belief or fact confidently and forcefully. While 'assert' implies conviction, it doesn't carry the connotation of an accusation or lack of proof for wrongdoing that 'allege' does. One might 'assert their innocence' but 'allege guilt'.
