crux— نکتهٔ اساسی
رسمی. وقتی به دشواری تعیینکننده یا ایدهٔ کلیدی اشاره میکنیم، مانند the crux of the argument، میتواند جایگزین شود، اما معمولاً برای مکان فیزیکی به کار نمیرود. برای بخشی استفاده میشود که نتیجهٔ یک استدلال یا مشکل به آن بستگی دارد.
Formal. It can replace 'central point' when referring to the decisive difficulty or key idea, as in 'the crux of the argument', but it is not normally used for a physical location. Choose it for the part that determines an argument or problem.
