تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
خیلی رایج و روزمره. تقریباً در تمام موقعیتها جایگزین comprehend میشود؛ understand در مکالمات روزمره طبیعیتر است.
Very common and everyday. Can replace 'comprehend' in almost all contexts; 'understand' is more natural in daily conversation.
رسمی یا نیمهرسمی. وقتی تأکید بر درک عمیق یا کامل مطلب هست، به خصوص موضوعات پیچیده کاربرد دارد؛ به اندازه understand خودمانی نیست.
Formal or semi-formal. Often used when emphasizing a firm or thorough understanding, especially of complex ideas; not as casual as 'understand'.

Formal and somewhat archaic. Rarely used in everyday speech; more common in legal or philosophical contexts and means understand or perceive.
