آگاهانه به کسی یا چیزی توجه نکردن.
To deliberately pay no attention to someone or something.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی. میتواند در بیشتر زمینهها جایگزین ignore شود ولی رسمیتر و کمتر احساسی است؛ مثلاً 'Disregard the warnings' مناسب است ولی در مکالمه روزمره کمتر استفاده میشود.
Formal. Can replace 'ignore' in most contexts but sounds more formal and less emotional; e.g. 'Disregard the warnings' fits but is less common in casual speech.
متداول. معمولاً به معنی نادیده گرفتن ناخواسته یا جا انداختن است نه آگاهانه؛ مثلاً 'I overlooked your message' یعنی اشتباهی بود.
Common. Often means unintentional ignoring or missing something rather than deliberate; e.g. 'I overlooked your message' implies accident.
