تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره. وقتی درباره اندازه بین دو نقطه باشد جایگزین distance میشود ولی برای جدایی احساسی یا انتزاعی جواب نمیدهد؛ مثلا length of the table درست است اما length between us برای جدایی احساسی نیست.
Everyday. Can replace 'distance' when referring to extent between two points, but not for emotional or abstract separation; e.g., 'the length of the table' works, 'the length between us' (meaning emotional) does not.
