با منطق یا استدلال صحیح سازگار نیست و بیمعنی به نظر میرسد.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی. در بحثهای مربوط به استدلال و فرآیندهای فکری قابل جایگزینی است، برای مثال «تصمیم غیرعقلانی» مشابه عمل میکند. بیشتر در زمینههای روانشناسی یا فلسفی استفاده میشود.
Formal. Interchangeable in contexts discussing reasoning and thought processes, e.g. 'an irrational decision' works similarly. Often used in psychological or philosophical contexts.
روزمره/غیررسمی. بیشتر روی چیزی مسخره یا غیرمعقول تأکید دارد نه فقط نامنطقی بودن. وقتی میخواهیم پوچی را نشان دهیم جایگزین illogical میشود، مثلاً «استدلال پوچ».
Common/informal. Emphasizes something ridiculous or unreasonable more than just illogical. Can replace illogical when pointing out ridiculousness, e.g. 'absurd argument'.
