تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
عامیانه/رسمی. 'Obligation' یک اصطلاح گستردهتر برای کاری است که شخص از نظر اخلاقی یا قانونی موظف به انجام آن است. در ارجاع به الزامات قانونی، با 'legal duty' قابل تعویض است. مثال: 'He felt an obligation to help.' در مقابل 'It is a legal duty to pay taxes.'
Common/formal. 'Obligation' is a broader term for something one is bound to do, morally or legally. It is interchangeable with 'legal duty' when referring specifically to legal requirements. Example: 'He felt an obligation to help.' vs. 'It is a legal duty to pay taxes.'
