تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
غیررسمی. در موقعیتهای روزمره وقتی کسی را به طور مکرر اذیت میکنیم جایگزین pest میشود؛ مثل «مزاحمم نشو!» معادل «از دستت راحت نمیشوم!».
Informal. Interchangeable with 'pester' in everyday contexts when referring to annoying someone persistently. For example, 'Stop bothering me!' works similarly to 'Stop pestering me!'.
رسمیتر است و معمولا برای اذیت طولانیمدت یا جدیتر به کار میرود؛ مثلا «با تماسهای تلفنی اذیت شد» رسمیتر از pester است.
More formal. Similar meaning but often implies more serious or prolonged annoyance. For example, 'She was harassed by phone calls' sounds more serious than 'pestered'.
