To change the path or direction of something, especially travel or communication, to a different route.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. زمانی که منظور تغییر جهت یا مسیر چیزی باشد قابل جایگزینی با reroute است؛ مثلاً «redirect traffic» همانند «reroute traffic» است. معمولاً در بحث ایمیل و پیامها هم کاربرد دارد.
Common. Interchangeable with 'reroute' when referring to changing direction or course of something, e.g. 'redirect traffic' works similar to 'reroute traffic'. Usually used with emails or messages as well.
روزمره. مرتبط اما متفاوت: detour خود مسیر جایگزین است و reroute فعل تغییر مسیر. همیشه قابل جایگزینی نیستند.
Everyday. Related but different: a detour is the alternative path taken, while reroute is the action of changing the path. Cannot always replace each other.
