تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی. وقتی تاکید بر برابری دقیق است جایگزین same میشود؛ مثلاً «identical twins» درست است ولی «same twins» غلط است.
Formal. Interchangeable with 'same' when emphasizing exact equality; e.g. 'identical twins' works, but 'same twins' is incorrect. Used when precision is important.
رایج. وقتی درباره مقدار یا ارزش باشد جایگزین same میشود؛ مثلاً «equal amounts» صحیح است ولی برای اشیاء مشابه نه. بیشتر در ریاضی و اندازهگیری کاربرد دارد.
