تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. میتواند به جای جنگ برای هر نوع درگیری به کار رود که الزاماً نظامی و بزرگ نیست.
Common. Can replace 'war' when talking about any kind of fight or opposition, not necessarily armed or on a large scale — 'a conflict between two countries' works, but 'declared war' is usual for large military struggles.
رایج. معمولاً برای بخشی از جنگ به کار میرود و کوچکتر است.
Common. Usually refers to a fight within a war, smaller in scale — 'the battle lasted three days' vs. 'the war lasted years'. Not interchangeable with 'war' when meaning the entire conflict.
