تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. در معنای توقف موقتی درگیری با ceasefire قابل جایگزینی است، مثل «آنها به آتشبس توافق کردند.» برای صلح دائمی معمولاً استفاده نمیشود.
Common. Interchangeable with 'ceasefire' in contexts meaning a temporary stop to fighting, e.g. 'They agreed to a truce.' Not typically used for permanent peace agreements.
رسمی/تاریخی. به توافق رسمی برای پایان جنگ اشاره دارد، مثل «آتشبس جنگ را پایان داد.» در مکالمه روزمره کمتر استفاده میشود.
Formal/historical. Refers specifically to a formal agreement to stop fighting, often ending a war, e.g. 'The armistice ended the conflict.' Less common in everyday use than ceasefire.
