تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج/رسمی. در مورد یافتن چیزی پنهان یا ناشناخته میتواند جایگزین detect شود؛ مانند 'detect a flaw' یا 'discover a problem'. discover گستردهتر است و ممکن است به یافتن برای نخستین بار اشاره کند.
Common/formal. Interchangeable with 'detect' when referring to finding something hidden or unknown; 'detect a flaw' or 'discover a problem' work similarly. 'Discover' is broader and can imply first-time finding.
روزمره. وقتی چیزی را مستقیم یا کوتاه مدت میبینی استفاده میشود؛ محاورهایتر از detect است. 'Notice a smell' درست است، اما 'detect a disease' معمولاً detect لازم دارد.
Everyday. Used when perceiving something directly or briefly; less formal than detect. 'Notice a smell' works, but 'detect a disease' usually requires detect.
