تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
متداول. 'Rule' یک اصطلاح کلیتر است که میتواند به هر دستورالعمل یا اصلی اطلاق شود، نه لزوماً الزامآور قانونی. 'Follow the rules of the game' صحیح است، اما 'Break the law' به معنای پیامد قانونی است، نه فقط یک قاعده شکسته شده.
Common. 'Rule' is a more general term that can apply to any guideline or principle, not necessarily legally binding. 'Follow the rules of the game' works, but 'Break the law' implies a legal consequence, not just a broken rule.
