سطح یا بخشی از چیزی که با سطوح یا بخشهای دیگرش متفاوت است، معمولاً به عنوان حاشیه یا کناره.
A surface or part of something that is distinct from its other surfaces or parts, usually a boundary or edge.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره. وقتی به لبه خارجی سطح اشاره دارد میتواند جایگزین side شود اما در معنی یک نما یا دیوار ساختمان نیست.
Everyday. Can replace 'side' when referring to the outermost part of a surface like 'edge of the table', but not in 'side of a building' meaning a full face or wall.
رسمی. عمدتاً در نظامی یا آناتومی به کار میرود، برای اشیاء معمولی نیست.
Formal. Used mostly in military or anatomical contexts, not for general objects. 'Flank of a hill' works, but not 'side of a car'.
