تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره و رایج. بیشتر مواقع جایگزین untruth میشود اما lie مستقیمتر و رایجتر است؛ untruth رسمیتر یا ادبیتر است.
Common everyday word. Interchangeable with 'untruth' in most contexts but 'lie' is more direct and frequently used; 'untruth' is slightly more formal or literary. Example: 'He told a lie' and 'He told an untruth' both work, but 'lie' is more common.
