تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره. معمولاً قابل تعویض است اما memory هم به عنوان توانایی یادآوری به کار میرود و هم عمل خاطره کردن؛ remembrance بر عمل خاطره کردن تأکید دارد. عبارت «in remembrance of» رایج است.
Common. Often interchangeable, but memory can be both the act and the capacity to remember; remembrance emphasizes the act of recalling. 'In remembrance of' is a common phrase.
رسمی. عمدتاً برای مراسم یا اقدامهای رسمی یادبود به کار میرود و در موارد غیررسمی کمتر قابل جایگزینی است.
Formal. Used mainly for official or public acts remembering events or people, less interchangeable with remembrance in casual contexts.
