تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی. وقتی بخواهیم یک گروه کوچک و متفاوت را نشان دهیم جایگزین میشود اما مفهوم سیاسی ندارد. «زیرگروه مذهبی» درست است ولی «حقوق اقلیت» خیر.
Formal. Can replace 'minority' when emphasizing a distinct smaller group within a population, but lacks the sociopolitical context. 'Religious subgroup' works, but 'minority rights' does not.
رسمی/غیررسمی. به گروه مذهبی یا ایدئولوژیک خاص اشاره دارد و معمولاً جایگزین اقلیت عمومی نیست.
Formal/informal. Refers specifically to a religious or ideological subgroup, often with distinct beliefs. Not interchangeable for general minority groups. 'Religious sect' works, but not for ethnic minorities.
