رایج. فقط در زمینههای تحقیق آکادمیک یا علمی جایگزین research میشود؛ study گستردهتر است. مثلاً 'تحقیقات پزشکی' و 'مطالعه ادبیات'.
Common. Interchangeable with 'research' only in contexts of academic or scientific investigation; 'study' can be more general as well. E.g., 'medical research' vs 'study of literature'.
رایج/رسمی. عمدتا برای بررسی رسمی یا سیستماتیک؛ در برخی موارد علمی جایگزین مناسب است اما investigation اغلب بازجویی رسمی است.
Common/formal. Mostly for systematic or official examination; interchangeable with 'research' in some scientific contexts but 'investigation' often implies official or legal inquiry. E.g., 'scientific research' vs 'police investigation'.
